Mezcal Güey is a Mexican-American mezcal brand started by a friend of ours. During a trip to Mexico, he met a former bull rider producing some of the best mezcal he had ever tasted. The brand features two protagonists: the rooster and the dog, representing those who venture into the world in search of a better life and those who stay home to care for their community. Each label is handmade and screen-printed on agave paper. Its bold pink-and-yellow visual language draws on Mexican screen-printing traditions, while the story unfolds through El Solitario, the master distiller.
